Warning! Short days equal Less Play!

Even with the end of Daylight Savings, the nights are longer, the days are colder and a lack of playtime outdoors can take its toll on our kids. As reported in UPMC HealthBeat, it is estimated that in winter, children burn only half as many calories as they do during the summer months. The decrease in exercise has a negative impact on children's mental, emotional, and physical wellness.

With winter coming on, and schools having more days off, we have increased our winter camps to include Veterans Day, Monday - Wednesday of Thanksgiving week and the Holiday Break.
